Bio

Laura completed her Master of Social Work degree, with an emphasis on clinical counseling, at the University of Georgia in 2020. She then earned her associate licensure as an LMSW. Laura completed her undergraduate studies at the State University of New York and graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Sociology. Prior to becoming a therapist, Laura spent over eighteen years in professional outside sales within the healthcare sector, working in pharmaceutical sales, and in home healthcare marketing. Laura is originally from upstate New York and has resided in Forsyth County for over 18 years. Laura and her husband live with a fun-loving and energetic Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who “rules” their house! They enjoy spending time in the north GA mountains, in places such as Blue Ridge and Ellijay. Laura has previously volunteered as a CASA, (Court Appointed Special Advocate for Children) within Forsyth County and is currently a volunteer with Sacred Journey Hospice. She also works as a therapist in private practice in Johns Creek, serving children, adolescents, and adults. She enthusiastically looks forward to helping you and your family!
